COMPLETE TOUR BY CAIRO
Our Spanish-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel first thing in the morning and we will enter the historic center of the largest metropolis in Africa.
Our first stop will be the Citadel of Saladin, a huge medieval fortress that has become the best-known non-Pharaonic monument in Cairo. Inside the fortress we will enter the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, known as the Alabaster Mosque due to the material that covers it. Its ornate decoration is spectacular.
Leaving the fortress behind we will head to the Khan el-Khalili market (Khan El-Khalili), the most famous market in Cairo. Walking through its labyrinthine streets is like visiting an authentic open-air museum. Khan el-Khalili is perfect for buying souvenirs and reproductions of Ancient Egyptian objects.
After the market we will stop for an optional meal at a high-class restaurant.
In the afternoon we will dedicate ourselves to discovering the Egyptian Museum, the most important not only in the country, but in the entire world. Here are the masterpieces of the pharaonic era, its greatest exponent being the treasure of Tutankhamun.
We will tour the Coptic Neighborhood, one of the most unique in the city. Here, we will visit Al-Muallaqa, better known as the Hanging Church, because it was built on top of the ruins of the Tower of Babylon. Nearby, we will see the Ben Ezra Synagogue, located on the site where it is believed that baby Moses was found. In addition, we will go to the Church of San Sergio, known as the Cave Church, where the Holy Family was hidden during their flight to Egypt. The day ends with your return to your hotel.
TOUR TO THE PYRAMIDS
Our Spanish-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to set us on our way to Giza, a city located 20 kilometers from Cairo.
Once in Giza we will have three hours to enjoy a panorama that will remain forever etched in your retina. This is where the Great Sphinx of Giza and the three largest and most famous pyramids in the country are located, erected for the pharaohs Cheops, Khafre and Mycerinus.
At lunchtime. We will do it in a high quality restaurant. With our strength restored, we will head towards the necropolis of Saqqara, one of the most important links in the history of Egypt where, among other things, you will be able to see the pyramid of Pharaoh Djoser, the first of the pyramids that were built in Egypt.
Our last stop will be Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, an authentic open-air museum where you can see, among other monuments, the impressive sculpture of the Colossus of Ramses II and the superb Alabaster Sphinx. The experience ends at your hotel.
ACCESS THE INTERIOR OF THE PYRAMIDS:
If you have enough courage and are not overwhelmed by closed places, you can access the interior of the pyramids of Khafre and Mycerinus for only €2, or €10 if you want to face the Great Pyramid of Cheops. The ticket is purchased at the time.
NIGHT TOUR
Once we pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, we will go to the archaeological site of the pyramids of Giza. For approximately one hour we will enjoy a light and sound show with various laser projections on the main monuments of the enclave.
The Great Sphinx and the complex formed by the pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mycerinus will be illuminated in vivid colors. The projections will review the history of this site, declared a World Heritage Site. The music will help create a unique atmosphere that will immerse us fully in the time of the great pharaohs of Ancient Egypt.
Once the function is over, we will return to the hotel.
DINNER ON A CRUISE SAILING THE NILE
We invite you to dinner on board the cruise during a two-hour cruise along the Nile with belly dancing, folklore show, and Western music. A selection of the best Egyptian dishes, made with the freshest ingredients and prepared to make it a great gastronomic experience. Transfer back to your hotel.
